10 Bible Verses to Honor Mom on Mother’s Day
1.) Proverbs 31:10-12 A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies. Her husband has full confidence in her and lacks nothing of value. She brings him good, not harm, all the days of her life. *
Children, give your mother examples of how she has blessed you by being the woman described in this passage.
2.) Proverbs 31:26-31 “She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue. She watches over the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness. Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: Many woman do noble things, but you surpass them all.” Charm is deceptive , and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised. Give her the reward she has earned, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate. *

3.) 2 Kings 4:30 But the child’s mother said, “As surely as the Lord lives and as you live, I will not leave you.” So he got up and followed her.*

4.) Proverbs 10:1 A wise son brings joy to his father, but a foolish son grief to his mother.*
Tell your mother how she taught you empathy by modeling God’s love with her own gentle, giving spirit.

Would your mother be thrilled to know you are proud to be her daughter, and hope to be ‘just like her’? This verse says it all.
6.) Ezekiel 16:44 ‘Everyone who quotes proverbs will quote this one about you: “Like mother like daughter.”’ *
Let your mother know you are honored to be made by God through her.
7.) Psalm 139:13 for you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb.*

8.) John 19:26-27 When Jesus saw his mother there, and the disciple whom he loved standing nearby, he said his mother, “Dear woman, here is your son,” and to the disciple, “Here is your mother.” From that time on, this disciple took her into his home.” *
Is mom far away on this special day?

10.) Numbers 6:24-26 “The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.”*
Did you know that when you compare yourself to others or wish you were like someone else, it’s like saying He just didn’t do a good job? It’s actually like saying, “God, why did You make me subpar? Why did You make me less than?” Realize today, God didn’t make anyone inferior. He didn’t make any person second class. No, you are a masterpiece! You are fully loaded and totally equipped for the race that’s been designed for you!
Today, let your attitude be, “I may not look like someone else or have the job that someone else has. That’s okay. Nobody will ever be a better me. I’m anointed to be me. I’m equipped to be me!” Remember, it’s easy to do what you are equipped to do. Don’t fall into the trap of trying to be like someone else. Accept who God made you to be and embrace the good things He has prepared for you!

The heart is special. In a lifetime, our hearts will beat over 2 billion times. It is a pump, a hard working machine, that drives us through the day and night, through the good and bad. It is the first organ to fully function when we are conceived; it is one of the last organs to fail.
And of course, it is the only organ that falls in love.
God is not waiting for you to become a better person before He forgives you. Jesus paid the price on the cross for all our sins – “while we were yet sinners Christ died for us,” the Bible says in Romans 5:8. He did it simply because He loves you and wants to have a relationship with you.
And the result of this astounding, unconditional love and total forgiveness is that we no longer have to live under the condemnation and guilt of sin. We can live the abundant life that Jesus talked about – a life full of hope, a life of purpose, a life of unlimited potential.
We can’t reach our highest potential in our own ability; we need God’s help. Part of releasing His help is through praying bold prayers.
God is moved by our faith. If you ask small, little prayers, you’ll get little results. But if you pray big prayers, you’re going to get big results. Matthew 9:29 says, “According to your faith it will be done to you.” (NIV). If you’re going to see God’s surpassing greatness, go beyond praying little prayers and ask God to do something big in your life. God is longing to amaze you with His goodness. Dare to stretch your faith. God wants to give you the secret petitions of your heart.
We all have different types that we are attracted to and different things that we like in a partner, but there are certain characteristics that are universal and nearly everyone sees as important. Here are 10 characteristics of an ideal partner that almost everyone can agree on:
1. Respectful. Someone who values the importance of our lives, our choices, and our friends and family and treats us with respect is attractive to everyone.
2. Sense of Humor. Nearly everyone values this in a relationship, especially as life throws tough situations at us. Being able to laugh together is a way that we cope with stress and get through things together.
3. Appreciative. No matter who you are, you want to know that you are appreciated in your relationship. No one wants to be taken for granted and we all like when our partner is appreciative and lets us know how much they enjoy being with us.
4. Thoughtful. Having a partner that thinks of us and anticipates our needs is something that we all like. Someone who thinks of what we want and need and doesn’t just consider themselves is something we all look for in an ideal partner.
